The village itself is well equipped with local shops, three pubs and Tesco Express. The neighbouring Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton is a popular destination by foot along the promenade or by car where you will find larger supermarkets and popular High Street with a variety of local and independent shops and restaurants. There are also a number of farm shops close-by; on the outskirts of the village visit Walsingham Farmshop with fresh produce available and butchers too, or visit Norfolk Lavender with shops and garden centre wafting a stunning scented aroma of the nearby lavender fields. A short drive away you will discover Sandringham House; peruse the royal gardens and woodland walks or visit one of the many events held throughout the year. Sandringham also hosts a variety of Country Fairs too, a hi-light amongst locals and visitors too is the Sandringham Flower Show, with show gardens and floral displays in abundance - you may even where you can get a glimpse of the royals so don’t forget your camera!

The cottage was very clean, well equiped, good quiet location. Garden secure so dog can't escape! Central location.

Mrs S,

Cosy cottage with view of the church. Garden a bonus.

Mrs C,

Cosy comfortable cottage with lovely view of church. Private garden would be a bonus in summer. Great base for exploring this section of the Norfolk Coast. The farm shop at nearby Norfolk Lavender is a great find for delicious local products.

Mrs S,

Church View Cottage is well presented and equipped, in an ideal location on the edge of the village.

Mr J,

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The cottage was extremely dog friendly with a welcome pack not only for humans but dogs too! Dogs are not allowed upstairs at this property which I don't remember being aware of prior to arrival. It may be an idea for the stairs to be fitted with a child gate to prevent the dogs from accessing the upstairs. I loved everything about this cottage and would highly recommend it.

Mrs F,

Church View is a sweet little cottage in a lovely location. The welcome pack for our dog was a nice touch. A Tesco Express is just a short walk from the cottage and the beach about a 30 minutes walk . The West Norfolk pub, which is near the beach, does nice meals but does get busy so best book in advance. We found the area to be both dog and human friendly.

Mrs U,

Lovely situation, private, peaceful and the garden is a day long sun trap. Completely enclosed, perfect for a dog. There are some lovely finishing touches in this cottage including the excellent quality bedding.

Mrs R,

Lovely, comfortable and characterful property in a nice location as a base to go and explore further afield. We will definitely consider staying there again if visiting North Norfolk for future holidays.
