This luxury ‘couples retreat’ is perfectly placed to explore the stunning Norfolk coastline with a variety of countryside walks and coastal paths to discover. The village itself is well equipped with local shops, three pubs and Tesco Express. The neighbouring Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton is a popular destination by foot along the promenade or by car where you will find larger supermarkets and popular High Street with a variety of local and independent shops and restaurants. There are also a number of farm shops close-by; on the outskirts of the village visit Walsingham Farmshop with fresh produce available and butchers too, or visit Norfolk Lavender with shops and garden centre wafting a stunning scented aroma of the nearby lavender fields. A short drive away you will discover Sandringham House; peruse the royal gardens and woodland walks or visit one of the many events held throughout the year. Sandringham also hosts a variety of Country Fairs too, a hi-light amongst locals and visitors too is the Sandringham Flower Show, with show gardens and floral displays in abundance - you may even where you can get a glimpse of the royals so don’t forget your camera!
Church View is a sweet little cottage in a lovely location. The welcome pack for our dog was a nice touch. A Tesco Express is just a short walk from the cottage and the beach about a 30 minutes walk . The West Norfolk pub, which is near the beach, does nice meals but does get busy so best book in advance. We found the area to be both dog and human friendly.
Lovely situation, private, peaceful and the garden is a day long sun trap. Completely enclosed, perfect for a dog. There are some lovely finishing touches in this cottage including the excellent quality bedding.
Lovely, comfortable and characterful property in a nice location as a base to go and explore further afield. We will definitely consider staying there again if visiting North Norfolk for future holidays.
Everything we could ask for in this sweet little cottage. Enjoyed the location with the green and church overlooking. Amenities nearby - everything you would need in the village plus I was able to walk to the beach every morning with our doggies. We would recommend.
