John later married the legendary Native American Indian Princess “Pocahontas whose image is featured on the village sign; in recent times ‘Pocahontas Way’ was named after the Indian Princess. Heacham has two fabulous dog-friendly beaches, head along south beach towards Snettisham or North to Hunstanton where the two places link by the popular promenade and take a gentle stroll width your four legged friends along the shoreline and peruse the changing tides, you may even spot an inquisitive seal or two in the Wash! The village boasts a beautiful Manor House, ‘Heacham Manor’ with golf course, bar and restaurant facilities just a minutes’ walk from Sunset View.
