Heacham is a delightful North Norfolk village with stunning beaches; North beach and South beach, both within walking distance. A favourite amongst families the promenade stretches along the shoreline to the neighbouring Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton with popular Sea Life Centre and Funfair to visit. Heacham is a firm favourite with families; the calm waters are ideal for paddling or just splashing around. The more adventurous may prefer sea kayaking, kite and windsurfing, why not book an afternoon’s tuition with lessons available locally. The village itself is well served with three Pubs, all serving food and two mini supermarkets; Tesco & McColls, as well as a variety of independent shops, bicycle hire too! Located on the outskirts of the village is Norfolk Lavender, enjoy the local speciality ‘Lavender cake’ or pop into Farmer Fred’s and let the youngsters run free in the indoor play area or visit the miniature farm. The area is a natural haven for bird watchers with two RSPB reserves close-by at Snettisham and Titchwell with a variety of coastal paths to explore as well as the popular Peddars Way.

Would highly recommend to anyone and would use again myself without hesitation

Mr Geoffrey B,

An attractive, warm and very comfortable cottage in a quiet location. A very comfortable, attractive and spacious cottage in a very quiet location. Easy access to lots of local places to visit and enjoy. A lovely private garden. Good local grocery shop and pubs with food available. Easy 15 minute walk to beach.

Mr Allan R,

We had a wonder week in this cottage. It was modern, clean and very comfortable . The toys provided in the chest were an excellent touch - they kept our little boy occupied for hours! A great base to explore this part of Norfolk - Sandringham was brilliant for walks and Brancaster beach just stunning.

Sarah M,

We have had an amazing stay. The cottage is wonderful and we felt immediately at home. Great location for exploring. We've been very lucky with the weather so made great use of the lovely garden. We'll definitely be back.

Kate W,

We absolutely loved this fabulous cottage - someone has an eye for design and decor - and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the garden at the end of our days. Our favourite places were: Pensthorpe Natural Park, Priory Mazes Garden and also Welney Wetlands Centre, and for food, the Globe Inn at Wells.
