Poppy Cottage is lovely terraced cottage in part of a large Victorian building on the outskirts of the village of Docking which has been converted into a selection of apartments and cottages and stands in attractive communal grounds. Poppy Cottage has its own large private enclosed garden to relax in and the cottage is spacious and comfortable with three double bedrooms, an en-suite shower room and a family bathroom. Docking is a super location with a well-stocked shop and post office, a fish & chip shop and a welcoming pub in the village, while beautiful beaches, Houghton Hall and Sandringham are only a short drive away. Shop/Pub: 0.5 mile

Docking is a well located North Norfolk village surrounded by unspoilt countryside, providing easy access to the area's country and coastal attractions. It is four miles from the splendid sandy beach at Brancaster with the traditional seaside resort of Hunstanton seven miles away. The beaches at Heacham, Holme, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are all nearby and there are also many bird reserves in the area.  Norfolk Lavender, Bircham Windmill and Snettisham Deer Park are among some of the nearby local attractions. The village has a large general store and post office, a pub and a fish & chip shop. There is also a large playing field with a tennis court.
