Dersingham is a friendly village that borders the edge of the Royal Estate of Sandringham, surrounded by beautiful countryside and many woodland walks all on the doorstep. The village has a wide variety of high quality shops including a supermarket, an award-winning butcher and Garden centre. There are plenty of fine restaurants and eateries close-by, visit the award winning Rose & Crown at Snettisham or pop into Sandringham Visitors Centre for refreshments or a hearty lunch with full restaurant facilities and hot food served daily, followed by a stroll around the house and gardens. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy a visit to the fabulous tea rooms ‘Petals’, just a short stroll from the cottage; serving a variety of refreshments amongst the delicious cakes and savouries. There are a variety of local beaches close-by, the nearest is at Snettisham, only two miles away and the coastal village of Heacham a ten minute drive with two beaches, North and South beach and a promenade leading to the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton. Take a stroll along the sea front to the pretty village of Old Hunstanton with soft sandy dunes to explore against a backdrop of softly decorated beach huts; alternatively pop into the Mariners Rest in the garden. The area offers good walking and cycling opportunities and if ornithology is your passion then why not visit the neighbouring village of Snettisham which boasts its own English Nature Reserve, or a little further around the coast visit the Norfolk Wildlife Trust at Holme-next-the-Sea and Titchwell.


No 29 is a beautiful property. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. Immaculately clean, everything you could wish for, very comfortable beds and sofas. A truly wonderful house.

This property is lovely on every level. Beautiful garden, well equipped kitchen, large bedrooms and lounge. All done to a high standard and the small intimate touches are beyond standard. Village is very nice and plenty to do. Beaches nearby are worth a visit. Tea room at the end of the road worth a second visit. All in all excellent

This house is absolutely immaculate and beautifully presented both inside and out.The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area and in easy walking distance of a great pub (sunday lunch) and enormous portions from the fish and chip shop. The sauna was an enjoyable bonus a hot tub would make it even more perfect!
