Dersingham is set on the edge of the Royal Estate of Sandringham and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and woodland. There are many fine examples of the local carrstone and flint architecture to be found within this thriving village which is rich in history. A good choice of local beaches, the nearest at Snettisham is only two miles away, with the coastal resorts of North and West Norfolk readily accessible. The area offers good walking and cycling opportunities and if ornithology is a passion then Dersingham boasts its own English Nature Reserve, with Holme-next-the-Sea's Norfolk Wildlife Trust, and Titchwell and Snettisham's RSPB Reserves only a short drive or bus ride away. The village has a wide variety of high quality shops including a supermarket, chemist, an award-winning butcher, as well as Thaxters Garden centre and coffee shop and local pubs serving food.
