Bramleys sits on the edge of Burnham Thorpe, birthplace of Admiral Lord Nelson and one of North Norfolk’s loveliest and most peaceful villages. Nestled in a stunning setting, the beautifully restored spacious brick and flint cottage is set in a picturesque garden, with masses of room for children to run around and play. Bramleys accommodates eight guests, six in the main house and two in the fabulous annexe, affectionately known as the ‘Loft’, which is a perfect haven just a few steps away from the main house.

The property has an inviting feeling of ‘home’, coupled with tasteful decorations and high quality furnishings. A place to relax in great comfort with wonderful views from the windows and glorious sunsets. The Loft, approached by a short flight of steps, enjoys an elevated, yet secluded spot with a magnificent vista over the fields and surrounding countryside. An idyllic retreat in a private undisturbed setting.

Burnham Thorpe is a quiet village just a few minutes from the coast, removed from the busy seaside towns and coast road but still easily assessable to the sea, whether it’s the beaches at Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea or the sailing at Burnham Overy Staithe with picnics on Scolt Head island or the seal colonies at Blakeney Point. It has a great playing field and play area for children in the middle of the village where you might see local cricket matches from time to time. There are walks you can take from the house in all directions to the coast, the Holkham Estate, Creake Abbey, Burnham Market or just around the village.

The area offers an extensive choice in gastronomic delights, excellent delicatessens and locally produced food from farm shops and local suppliers, an endless selection of pubs and restaurants in the area offering simple pub grub to more sophisticated restaurant dining. For the keen shopper, you will find a variety of boutiques and gift shops in Burnham Market, Wells-next-the-Sea and a bit further afield in Holt.

Ground Floor:
Sitting Room: two comfortable sofas and an armchair, open fire, Smart TV, DVD player, video recorder.
Kitchen/Dining Room: two oven Aga, larder fridge, small freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Large farmhouse table and chairs.
Garden Room: two big comfortable sofas and an armchair. A light and airy room with wall to wall windows on two sides
Utility/Boot Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, Belfast sink, plenty of hooks for coats etc. Leads out to back door with large covered porch area which is ideal for boots and outdoor equipment.
Cloakroom with w.c. and basin.

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Zip and link bed which can be made up as a Super King Size bed or twins.
Bedroom 2: King size bed.
Bedroom 3: Double bed.
Bathroom with bath, separate walk in shower, basin and wc

The Loft: Super King Size bed. This is a very generous sized room which also has a day bed to lounge on and a huge window over looking meadows and a long row of poplar trees. En-suite Shower Room with walk in shower that has an overhead and hand held shower, basin and w.c.

Garden: Fully enclosed garden with large areas of lawn, well kept flowerbeds, patio area with a good sized table and chairs and a charcoal barbecue. There is a small ‘seasonal’ pond which is often dry in the summer but there is some water during the rest of the year. Please ensure children are supervised at all times when in the garden.
Parking: Up to 4 cars. Roadside parking is unavailable due to the narrow country lanes.
Heating: Oil Fired Central heating in house and Electric Central Heating in The Loft. Open fire in the sitting room.
