The Courtyard is set in the grounds of Lodge Farm, a Jacobean Grade II listed farmhouse, surrounded on three sides by Bawburgh Lakes and in a wildlife conservation area. The Courtyard has recently been converted from a barn used by the farm into a single storey, modern contemporary holiday home with all the luxuries you would expect, like Egyptian cotton bedding and towels. The farmhouse grounds, play areas, pond dipping, wild flower meadow, picnic areas and access to the on-site Cookery School, ensure that your holiday can be as diverse as you wish. Bawburgh is a picturesque village situated in delightful Norfolk countryside, on the outskirts of Norwich. It is a great location for enjoying the superb, historical culture of Norwich without being in the city centre. The River Yare meanders gently through the village running alongside the village green, and the local pub is definitely worth a visit. You can also enjoy a round of golf at the local course with its excellent family centre. The Sainsbury Centre and Sport facilities including an Olympic swimming pool are just a short distance away at the University. Go west and you will find yourself surrounded by quiet lanes and National Cycle Route 7. The Broads and the North Norfolk Coast are a short distance by car.

We really enjoyed our stay. Zena was so informative and helpful. It is a great location. The property is spacious, clean, extremely well appointed, well supplied and extremely comfortable. Outside spaces and wildlife also much appreciated.Mrs S Wierzba - 13th June 2016
