West Runton is a brilliant location for a north Norfolk holiday.  It has a lovely sandy beach with rock pools and is famous for fossil hunting too, after truly 'mammoth' discoveries were made here in 1990. Inland West Runton & Beeton Regis Heath is a stunning location for woodland walks with lovely distant sea views and the coast is also a treasure trove for bird watching enthusiasts.  The nearby towns of Sheringham with its steam railway, Little Theatre, golf course and National Trust park and Cromer with its Pier Theatre with seasonal shows, zoo, tennis & squash courts, shops and local museums make good days out.  Nearby Weybourne is host to an ever popular military museum and the charming Georgian town of Holt, with its boutique shopping, art and antique galleries and cafe culture is a short drive away. There is plenty to explore in this part of Norfolk and you are sure to want to return time and again.

We stayed in West Runton which is a good base for all of Norfolk. The cottage we stayed in was well equipped and comfy. Mrs Jenny Campbell-Walker - 18th June 2018
South View is situated in a very quiet location with plenty of space for secure parking. It is very well equipped and furnished and has a bright, airy feel with a beach themed decor which is very appealing. Ms Jane Blackford - 16th April 2018
This is a modern very comfy home from home house, perfect for 3 couples or a family. Kitchen was very well equipped. Very quiet location but close to all amenities. Would definitely stay again.Mrs Jayne Timmins - 20th March 2018
Very nice pleasant property. Efficient service. Local area is fantastic and would strongly recommended the Hillside Animal and Horse Sanctuary in West Runton especially if you have children of all ages (mine are 13 and 9 and they loved it but great for younger children too) Also Felbrigg Hall was very good and the children were not at all bored and indeed found the house and gardens very interesting. Titchwell Nature Reserve very good. Mr Mike Burch - 30th October 2017
Lovely cottage, in very good location. A real home from home, so pleasant and cosy to return to after long days out and about especially on the day we got absolutely soaked to the skin! One of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in.Mrs J Baldwin - 29th September 2017
The house was beautiful and in a great location for local restraunts and the beach. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend South View and North Norfolk cottages. Miss Katie Wells - 4th September 2017

Celebrating a sixty birthday and came to West Runton because some of us used to live in the village and then returned every summer while our children were young. Your house is lovely and we enjoyed staying in it very much. Everything we could wish for was provided and my son particularly liked the shower. I, myself loved the decor and paintings / pictures. We wouldn't hesitate choosing your lovely house again. Many thanks. The Warner Family - 2nd May 2016
Beautiful property home from home. Ideal location giving access to many places. Weather has been sunny all week with a few windy days. Would definitely come again and also recommend to family and friends. Thank you.Nicky, Alan & Jade - 2nd May 2016
This is the best holiday cottage ever! We love West Runton very much. Visited Wiveton Hall cafe near Holt, now famous for Normal for Norfolk despite terrible weather, it was jolly good to go! We'd love to come back here again, hopefully in a warm season.Steve, Yuko & Poko the dog - 29th April 2016
