West Runton is a brilliant location for a north Norfolk holiday. It has a lovely sandy beach with rock pools and is famous for fossil hunting too, after truly 'mammoth' discoveries were made here in 1990. Inland West Runton & Beeton Regis Heath is a stunning location for woodland walks with lovely distant sea views and the coast is also a treasure trove for bird watching enthusiasts. The nearby towns of Sheringham with its steam railway, Little Theatre, golf course and National Trust park and Cromer with its Pier Theatre with seasonal shows, zoo, tennis & squash courts, shops and local museums make good days out. Nearby Weybourne is host to an ever popular military museum and the charming Georgian town of Holt, with its boutique shopping, art and antique galleries and cafe culture is a short drive away. There is plenty to explore in this part of Norfolk and you are sure to want to return time and again.

Beautiful bungalow and perfectly placed for transport links and walking on the beautiful beaches. Welcome tray was much appreciated. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday.
A very good holiday cottage in an excellent location. It was a real bonus to discover the excellent public transport connections within a short walking distance (e.g. an outstanding bus service which we made good use of), and also a very good selection of restaurants/pubs also within a short walking distance. The cottage ideally suited our party of six (3 couples), providing good sleeping accommodation and 3 'bathrooms'. It was also very helpful to have access to the garage to store our bicycles securely.
Excellent location close to village centre and beach. Ideal property for family with 3 shower/bathrooms. Within walking distance of local trains & local buses. Definitely recommend South View!
