Description

A wonderful, period seaside holiday cottage in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea. This luxurious hideaway boasts a contemporary seaside theme and offers many extra touches to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible and perfect for families, friends, walkers with coastal paths to explore and ideal for cyclists too with with covered storage available for bicycles. Hideaway House is the ideal 'year round' destination where you can switch off and truly relax. Lie back on the reclining sofas in the spacious sitting room or curl up with a novel from the book library whilst the warmth of the wood burning stove warms your toes. Budding chefs can conjure up a feast within this well-equipped kitchen with ‘Smeg’ range cooker open to the dining room and French doors leading out to the garden. With generous accommodation throughout there are three king size bedrooms and a bunk room, with the master bedroom having en-suite facilities and another with Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. Summer days can be spent in the pretty walled courtyard garden admiring the fruiting vine or indulging in suppers with friends; a lovely place to gather on special occasions. As the name suggests, Hideaway House is perfectly tucked away in a quiet spot just seconds from the Quay, and even has private parking. Shop/Pub: walking distance

Wells-next-the-Sea is a popular seaside town on the beautiful North Norfolk coast, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Wells, with its shops, restaurants and galleries is the perfect location for a holiday at any time of the year. The long sandy beach is framed by pinewoods and brightly painted beach huts, which can be rented by the day. There is also a boating lake, miniature railway to and from the beach and crabbing on the quay. The more energetic can enjoy sailing, wind-surfing and walking along the coastal path. Further afield, Holkham, Burnham Market, the seal colonies at Blakeney and the Georgian market town of Holt are all within easy reach.
