Wells-next-the-Sea is a hub for North Norfolk coastal activities. The picturesque harbour leads onto the most spectacular beach beyond the lifeboat shed, which can be accessed by walking or taking the narrow-gauge railway or car. The town has many old buildings, along with a traditional main street with all sorts of small shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants. The beautiful coast is a top destination for bird watchers and seal trip excursions, not forgetting catching crabs, the local favourite activity. With the spectacular country estates of Sandringham, Holkham and Blickling just a short drive away, Wells provides year round enjoyment for all ages.
A lovely cottage, ideal for exploring.
A very comfortable property and ideally placed for visiting the Norfolk coast. There are plenty of good eating places and food shops (even selling Stag crackers from Stornoway). The parking space is a big plus. Also appreciated the treats, and the basic food items in the cupboard.
Wow! We always love coming to this part of the world as the landscape and wildlife are stunning! Your cottage made it even more special. We have had the most glorious week. Thank you for the arrival treats and your lovely place.
Perfect family holiday
Well what can we say, the weather has been glorious and Sea Pink has been the perfect base for exploring the gem that is Wells and North Norfolk. We have had a fabulous week, and hope to be back soon. Enjoyed some great walks along the coastal path, visiting Holkham Hall (and running the park run) and a lovely meal in the Golden Fleece. Thanks.
