A characterful semi-detached cottage situated in the heart of this iconic port town, which is only 2.5 miles from Holkham Hall. Perfect for small families or groups of friends keen to explore the natural and historical attractions of the North Norfolk Coast, this cosy two-storey cottage features a sitting room, kitchen/diner and an enclosed patio garden.

Located on one of the main B roads into Wells’ bustling quayside, this cottage has a striking flint and brick exterior and a homely interior that glows in the natural light pouring in through dual-aspect windows. The attractively furnished sitting room is a great place to relax together as a group when not exploring the coast. The nearby kitchen/diner has everything experienced foodies need to create wonderful meals using local ingredients, with access to the garden within easy reach. When night time comes, head upstairs for a soak in the family bathroom before sinking into the welcoming arms of the double bedroom or the twin bedroom nearby. If the weather is fine, head outside to the private patio garden for everything from morning coffees to fish suppers.

Wells’ bustling town centre, with its shops, family-friendly pubs and galleries, lies within 500 metres of the cottage. The walk to Well’s famous beach (1.5 miles) takes in harbour views, marshland and pine woodland. Holkham Hall (2.5 miles) is one of Norfolk’s many historical and cultural gems and it’s well worth setting a day aside to explore the 18th-century estate’s house and astonishing grounds.

Don't like how you charge a booking fee. !! First impression of property on arrival wasnt good. Debris on outer widow sills and on the front of the premises. Appreciate there are trees around however it could have been swept up before arrival.Front door dirty. Threshold over door way grubby. Bird poo & cob webs on windows. Car park and yard nRead moreeeds attention with weeds growing. 2nd slab out of back door is a trip hazard. Thresholds over all doors on the back are full of muck. Patio picnic table is too grubby to eat off. Knives need replacing. Very very blunt. Did try to sharpen with sharpening tool, but even that is worn. Need to change bedding to season. 13.5 tog quilt we had on our bed. Bed pillows need replacing. Fan would be nice. Fridge Ice box needs de frosting. Top oven needs a deep clean. Both toilet brushes need replacing. Wasn't very nice. Bathroom needs a toilet roll holder on the wall. Clearer instructions needed to operate oven, washing machine and shower would be a good idea. Also instructions on what is allowed in recycling bin as nothing in the info book. Also which bins are for Boatyard would be good to know. A washing line would also be a bonus although there is a foldi g dryer, but not brilliant when you have a load to dry. Positives... Great location. Good access for parking when inconsiderate locals don't park opposite entrance. Hide

A lovely cottage in a excellent location. Very well equipped. If I was to suggest anything I would suggest the double bed be replaced with a king size one in the future. Also a bathroom cabinet would have been useful to store toiletries.

Beautiful cottage. A real home from home decorated to a very high standard with all you could need plus more. Great central location to shops and pubs / places to eat. Very short walk to the quayside which was beautiful for an evening stroll. Many of the other accommodations didn't have off street parking but this one did as well as a private encloRead moresed rear courtyard that got the sun most of the day. Just perfect. Couldn't ask for anything more. Hide

My only complaint is a 9.00am leave time on day of departure is just too early, I understand that the property has to be cleaned and left some time before the new tenants arrive, but 9.00am I dont think so..,
