Great Walsingham is an ancient and peaceful North Norfolk village, with an award winning pie maker at the local Barns Café and there is also a craft and art centre, gift and interiors shops here too. Only four miles inland from the coast, the coastline boasts a host of picturesque and interesting villages to visit, from Brancaster in the west to Blakeney and Cley-next-the-Sea in the east. There are beautiful sandy beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham, where you can also visit historic Holkham Hall, seat of the Earls of Leicester. Inland the delightful and bustling Georgian towns of Burnham Market and Holt also make a great day out.
Great weekend with the family and our two dogs. Location was really good for local walks with the dogs and your not to far away from the coast.
Cottage was perfect for us, clean, well equipped, comfortable and welcoming.
Great place and great location The cottage is amazing, great location and the barns café, which is literally next door is amazing, sadly only open Thursday through Sunday though.
