Great Walsingham is an ancient and peaceful North Norfolk village, with an award winning pie maker and Cafe, craft centre, gift shop and only four miles inland from the coast. The coastline boasts a host of picturesque and interesting villages to visit, from Brancaster in the west to Blakeney and Cley-next-the-Sea in the east. There are beautiful sandy beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham, where you can also visit historic Holkham Hall, seat of the Earls of Leicester. Inland the delightful and bustling Georgian towns of Burnham Market and Holt also make a great day out.
Sunshine cottage was perfect for us and was a great base for exploring North Norfolk. The cottage was spotlessly clean and provisioned with all the essentials. We particularly enjoyed the garden and summerhouse which allowed us to stay outside long into the early summer evenings. Would definitely come back here next time visiting North Norfolk. Using Norfolk Country Cottages was really simple and efficient to book a great holiday. Thanks!
The nicest cottage I've ever stayed in: decorated tastefully; furnished to a high spec; location beautiful.
