A charming country cottage enveloped by a lush tropical garden and ideally situated for exploring the rugged Norfolk coast. Nestled behind a row of cottages in the sleepy village of Stiffkey, this romantic bolthole is the perfect escape for couples and their waggy-tailed third wheel. Inhale the salty ocean air as you seal spot from Blakeney Point (2.5 miles), then swirl a glass of chilled wine and pick through a snack board perched on the leafy patio.

This compact property boasts a tastefully styled interior with rich colours, plush fabrics, and traditional country house detailing. Ease out of muddy boots at the door then pad into the inviting lounge/diner. Tend to the crackling wood burner then sink amongst the plump cushions on the sofa. Browse the bookshelf for a holiday read or snuggle up with a film. Settle in for your evening meal at the intimate table or throw open the split stable door and dine al fresco. Step beneath the archway into the shaker kitchen to brew a round of teas overlooking the garden. Take a relaxing rinse in the shower before turning in for the night. Slip into the cool sheets of the double bedroom decorated in calming white tones. Throw open the French doors to enjoy breakfast outside surrounded by mature shrubs and flowers.

Saunter barefoot alongside the colourful beach huts lining the shoreline of Wells-next-the-Sea Beach (5 miles) then tuck into an unbeatably fresh seafood platter at the Wells Crab House (4 miles). Admire the 13th Century monastic ruins of Binham Priory (3.5 miles) or peruse the selection of independent shops and cafes in the Georgian market town of Holt (9 miles).

Location, location, location. 5 minute walk down to the mud flats at Stiffkey and 5 minute walk to the Red Lion. The cottage is perfectly suitable for two people, is well equipped and makes good use of the space available. The shower unit and sink are either side of the corridor connecting the kitchen and bedroom which works out fine if you close tRead morehe doors to create a bathroom area. Plenty of space for car parking on Green Way but be aware that there is a short walk past the front and around the back of a row of cottages to get to the property so no unloading straight from the car. Surprisingly comfortable and well equipped characterful small cottage. Friendly, welcoming neighbours. Excellent location for coastal walks in both directions. We didnt use the car all week thanks to the coasthopper bus pulling up outside. Great stay, thank you.

As a couple with one medium size dog (beagle) the cottage met our needs perfectly for a February stay, cottage was warm, cosy & comfortable kitchen very well equipped should guests plan to self cater easy walk to local pub & to Stiffkey Stores. We found the property without any problems within a lovely garden with some lovely plants a real cottage garden. Was really quiet and relaxing, the adjoining neighbours were very helpful and friendly. So close to Cley & Titchwell wildlife reserves which I really enjoyed. Would definitely consider returning for another stay.

The cottage was lovely, clean and comfy. Amazing how you fitted so much in. Not sure about sharing space outside with others. We do like a garden when on holiday., so wouldn't use this cottage again.

I have booked with you a number of times and find the website easy to use, the properties clean and accurately described, and have never had any issues. That said, prices are creeping up, and as a single person, even these holidays are becoming less easy to afford.
