The coastal village of Stiffkey is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has one of the richest saltmarshes for wildlife in the country, providing excellent opportunities for both ornithology and walking. The sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells are just four miles along the coast and sailing is available at nearby Morston and Blakeney. Stiffkey has a shop and a pub which serves food, with further amenities available in the lovely Georgian town of Holt, which is seven miles away.
This is our 20th year in this wonderful cottage that should tell you everything. It is a beautiful property and has everything we need for a perfect holiday, it truly is a home from home and we've already booked for next year!
Really lovely comfortable house. Had everything we needed. Loved the views across the river.
It is a comfortable cottage with beautiful views and situated in a charming village. It was a lovely place to stay.
This cottage has had a lovely refit. A snug comfortable cottage - a little gem of a get-away in beautiful countryside.
We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the balcony - stunning views, and wonderful to have the salt marshes on your doorstep. Ideally located to explore the surrounding area, we had a wonderful week, and would like to thank Charles for the gift of the wine and the welcome note, and the use of his lovely cottage.
