Gannets Rest Beach House is all about its breathtaking location on Snettisham Beach. Swing open the patio doors and experience spectacular views on your doorstep. Wake up to a fresh cup of coffee on the garden decking area overlooking the beach or an evening glass of wine listening to the sea under the stars.

Snettisham Beach is a natural haven and largely unspoilt. It is located next to the RSPB reserve and the beach is often frequented by various wading birds such as oystercatchers, ringed plovers and avocets. It is a nature lovers paradise with access to many lovely walks.

This beach location is ideal for families, there is Hunstanton and Sandringham a short drive away as well as the Snettisham Park.

Due to the beach location this is an off-grid beach house, electricity is generated by solar panels although there is also a back-up generator. There is an oil tank which provides the central heating.

This coastal home accommodates up to 5 guests in three lovely bedrooms. The property also boasts a very generous and sociable living and dining area, making it the perfect location to enjoy some quality time all together, with the added attraction of the decking area for alfresco dining. For those chillier evenings, you can snuggle up in front of the feature fireplace and watch your favourite movie.

Stunning location right on the beach, oystercatchers and ringed plovers nesting right outside the backdoor. Lovely patio/garden area full of flowers. Short walk to the RSPB reserve which has excellent hides. Lots of insects, birds, flowers and shells on the beach. Good fish and chips around the corner. Sadly we couldn't try village pubs as with covid restrictions they were all fully booked, but decent food available in Heacham and Hunstanton. Cottage is very comfortable, bright and clean. There is no electric kettle or microwave, presumably because the electricity supply is solar, so cooking all on gas hob, but there is also an Aga. Both showers really good, nice bedrooms. We had a lovely time.

Ms J,

The location of the cottage was great, making it easy to visit several places. Being directly on the beach was a real bonus.
