Sheringham is an excitable seaside resort on the popular north Norfolk coast that has something to offer all year round: the beach, sea fishing, golf, a museum, a brand-new leisure centre, its own Little Theatre and the National Trust's Sheringham Park are just some of the local attractions. This is also a great part of the coast to explore for nature lovers, cyclists and walkers alike; with the coastal path close by, the bird centre at Cley-next-the-Sea and the seal colony at Blakeney Point. As well as the North Norfolk cycle network, there are many a walk to be enjoyed right from Cherry Tree House's front door. The famous Poppy line Railway in Sheringham will take you to the lovely town of Holt with its mix of art galleries, shops, cafes and pubs (remember to book in advance). The mainline train to Norwich, gives access to the cultural delights of the city, which makes for a great day out.
