Sheringham is a thriving seaside resort on the popular north Norfolk coast that has something to offer all year round. Golf, sea fishing, the beach, leisure centre, its own Little Theatre and the National Trust's Sheringham Park are just some of the local attractions, with tennis and squash available in nearby Cromer. This is also a great part of the coast to explore for nature lovers, ornithologists and walkers alike, with the national coastal path literally on the doorstep, easy access to the beach, the bird reserve at Cley-next-the-Sea and the seal colony at Blakeney Point. The famous Poppy line Railway will take you to the lovely town of Holt with its mix of art galleries, shops, cafes and pubs and the mainline train to Norwich, gives access to the abundant cultural delights of the city, which makes for a great day out.
This was our 2nd visit to Clifftops. We love it. The position is brilliant with the back gate opening up onto the coast path but also minutes away from the town. We are 4 single ladies and there is ample space for us to spread out, read, play games etc We'd certainly like to return .
Lovely, very well equiped and spacious house with fabulous large gardens. Excellent location right next to the coastal path and five minutes walk into town centre or beach..
We spent a lovely week at Clifftops. The cottage was very comfortable, well equipped and in a very good position. The back gate opening onto the coast path was a bonus enabling us to do walks in both directions straight from the cottage. Also the closeness to the town was very good. We will certainly try and visit again.
An excellent holiday home, as described, combining character features and modern comfort. Perfectly situated within reach of all amenities and the coastal path.
