Sheringham is a thriving seaside resort on the popular north Norfolk coast that has something to offer all year round. Golf, sea fishing, the beach, leisure centre, its own Little Theatre and the National Trust's Sheringham Park are just some of the local attractions, with tennis and squash available in nearby Cromer. This is also a great part of the coast to explore for nature lovers, ornithologists and walkers alike, with the national coastal path literally on the doorstep, easy access to the beach, the bird reserve at Cley-next-the-Sea and the seal colony at Blakeney Point. The famous Poppy line Railway will take you to the lovely town of Holt with its mix of art galleries, shops, cafes and pubs and the mainline train to Norwich, gives access to the abundant cultural delights of the city, which makes for a great day out.
The location was wonderful. We have never stayed in a property with such a well equipped kitchen. The other high priority issue for us is comfortable beds which we certainly found here.
Lovely property, spacious and everything we needed for our stay. Great location, access to the coastal path out of the back garden a great bonus, and a parking space.
Built in 1920,Clifftops has been sensitively modernised to provide a most comfortable environment for a holiday base. We appreciated the convenience of being able to dander into Sheringham along the coastal path, use the nearby train services as we explored further afield, yet be assured of the welcome quietness on our return to this peaceful house. An entirely restorative experience.
Lovely property in an excellent location
Exceptionally well equipped and thoughtfully done. Everything of high quality. We were there in February in the coldest week for twenty years and house was always snug and warm - it is an excellent cottage for a winter holiday. Loved the location right by the coast path and close to Sheringham shops, the Coasthopper bus and the train station.
It was a great pleasure to stay at Clifftops and enjoy the comfort of a well-appointed home and splendid views.
