Sheringham is a thriving seaside resort on the popular north Norfolk coast that has something to offer all year round. Golf, sea fishing, the beach, leisure centre, its own Little Theatre and the National Trust's Sheringham Park are just some of the local attractions, with tennis and squash available in nearby Cromer. This is also a great part of the coast to explore for nature lover's, ornithologists and walkers alike, with the national coastal path close by, the bird centre at Cley-next-the-Sea and the seal colony at Blakeney Point. The famous Poppy line Railway will take you to the lovely town of Holt with its mix of art galleries, shops, cafes and pubs and the mainline train to Norwich, gives access to the abundant cultural delights of the city, which makes for a great day out.
We found ‘Wave on Lea’ to be a home from home. Very clean and tastefully furnished. The simple little things matter, a pint of milk in the fridge and the wine were lovely touches. Very comfortable and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again or to recommend this property. It was perfect for us. Thank you
We have stayed in a number of properties, all across England, but Wave-On-Lea was the best by a country mile, for cleanliness. The property was as described. It is in a lovely position in Sheringham close the to town and the sea. It is very clean and the bedding and towels were spotless and smelt lovely and fresh. I am fussy, and usually wash all the crockery, cutlery etc. before I use anything, but this was not required here. Wave-On-Lea was not the cheapest place we have stayed but it was without doubt the cleanest! Thank you and please pass on our thanks to the owners and cleaners too.
