The charming seaside town of Sheringham is an excellent location for a holiday in beautiful North Norfolk. The award-winning beach is of smooth pebbles when the tide is high, giving way to a large expanse of smooth sand as the tide recedes. Cliffs rise on either side of the town, which has a backdrop of wooded hills, including those in the wonderful Sheringham Park. Sheringham is also home to The North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash Leisure Centre, a golf course and an excellent selection of shops, tea-rooms, pubs and restaurants.

Fantastic property, such a quiet location and yet so near to town centre.

Mrs Janet O,

Lovely week in a lovely comfortable bungalow. Fantastic location, near to all the amenities, yet so quiet and secluded. So many walks straight from the door without needing to use the car. We walked along the coast footpath and up to Sheringham Park. We also visited Cromer by bus, so many choices! Thank you so much.

Janet O,

Booking was easy with a very helpful member of the Norfolk Cottages staff. The bungalow is very comfortable, with everything you need in a holiday cottage provided. It is set back from the side road in a lovely garden so nice and peaceful. A few minutes walk from the beach and town. We come to Norfolk regularly for bird watching.

Mr John O,

A lovely place to stay in Sheringham – a really central position. The house had everything you could want and our hosts Gillian and Peter were excellent . We would recommend a stay here.

Barnard Party,

A lovely, well equipped property.

Mrs Amy H,

Fantastic property, a pleasure to stay at.

Mr Nick B,

Our party was aged from two to eighty four years old and everyone was catered for. It was lovely to leave the car and have walking access to all we needed. Definately want to return again.

Mrs Carol C,

Perfect, just what we wanted.

Mr R H,

A lovely weekend set in a peaceful, central location. Bungalow perfect in every way - well equipped, spotless - we could not wish for anything better. Thank you very much for the welcome pack - much appreciated.

The H,

Wonderful location, beautiful accommodation everyone catered for and our age range was 2 to 85 ! Everything available to us of excellent quality and absolutely spotless. This has to be one of the best we have stayed in, a credit to you. Certainly hope to come again, sad to leave ! Many thanks.

Cierniak Family,

Thank you for our few enjoyable days by the sea, our second stay in Hideaway. It is so spacious, bright and well equipped, we are very sad to go home. Thank you for the wine & fresh fruit & your warm welcome. We hope to stay again in the future.

Previous Customer,

Thank you very much. We have had a fabulous weeks holiday with our friends. The bungalow is very well equipped with everything you could think of. A real home from home holiday. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Previous Customer,

What a fantastic start to the year ! A lovely week spent celebrating a 40th birthday with 3 generations. Lots of relaxing in this wonderful Hideaway with everything on the doorstep. The bungalow is so well equipped and thank you for the thoughtful touvhes, will be recommending to family & friends and would love to return one summer to enjoy the garden & beaches.

The Harvey/Thorley family,

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. This was our most relaxing holiday with our disabled son. There was plenty of space for both of our children.

Dr Siobhan K,

A lovely 3 generation family holiday ! The bungalow has been perfect in every respect, including the garden which the Grandchildren enjoyed. Highlights have been: Crabbing at Blakeney, a trip to Holt on the steam train, a day on the beach at Cromer, morning coffee in the sitting room & lunch at The Ship in Weybourne (very family friendly with good quality reasonably priced food).

Previous Customer,

Thank you so much for keeping such a beautiful, welcoming and warm cottage. This has been our most relaxed self-catering holiday with our toddler and disabled older child. They have loved the space and beautiful bright and airy living room. We have loved being so close to the town and the local attractions. My Mum has loved her 'private wing' away from the Grandchildren for 5 minutes peace ! We hope to return next year to your outstanding cottage. P.S Thank you very much for moving & rearranging furniture for our older son, really appreciate it.

Previous Customer,

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hideaway. Great location - so close to the sea & the shops. The bungalow is spotlessly clean & very well equipped with loads of space. An extremely well thought out holiday home with good quality furnishings & decoration. Very peaceful away from the road and we enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden & hearing the steam train. We would very much like to return some time soon. Thank you.

Previous Customer,

A lovely bungalow, so well equipped 7 comfortable. we have enjoyed being here. Love Sheringham, big enough for all our needs. Can recommend 'Whelk Coppers' for tea, coffee etc and scones. Also enjoyed the Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitor centre at Cley Marshes, interesting building, superb views over the marshes, bird watchers heaven. Thank you for such a lovely holiday home.
