Salthouse is an unspoilt conservation village situated on the North Norfolk Coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is an ideal location for exploring the diverse coastline from the popular resorts of Sheringham and Cromer to the picturesque villages of Cley and Blakeney, all of which are within a few miles. The area is a haven for ornithologists, walkers and nature lovers, with many bird reserves, good fishing and excellent walks close by. The village is well represented with award winning Cookies Crabshop serving local seafood and produce as well as the Dun Cow pub.
Hares and deer in the field right next to the house, the beech a short walk away teeming with wild birds, and only 30 minutes drive in any direction and you're visiting a lovely house, village or nature reserve.
A comfortable, well equipped, very clean cottage in a lovely quiet location with views across fields to the coast. Lovely secluded garden. The cava left for us in the fridge was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay again
Spirals is a modern house with three storeys, in Salthouse village. It's a lovely house with good facilities. The furnishings are very comfortable and attractive, there is new carpet and the house is well decorated and very clean. The kitchen was really well equipped and there were good instructions for the property (eg.wood burning stove). There's a lovely little garden and the property is tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, with great views across farmland and to the sea. The village has a great little village shop, a church and a pub, all within easy walking distance of the house. You can also walk to the beach, or drive there and park in the small beach car park. Salthouse is handy for local villages and towns, such as Holt, Sheringham and Cromer. We would stay here again and would definitely recommend it.
