Modern interiors, quality fittings and a relaxed vibe give the house its coastal charm. The sunny, south facing rear garden is the perfect spot for breakfast or summer barbecues and the woodburner is the place to cosy round after a bracing coastal walk. The village has plenty of facilities with a good local store, pub and garden centre café all within easy walking distance, as is the beach. Overstrand is a beautiful spot on the Norfolk coast, the village has an Edwardian influence and a refined air that lends grace and charm to your surroundings and is within easy reach of plenty of attractions. There are good walks and days out to be had locally on the vast stretches of golden, sandy beach or stay up top and take a cliff walk to see some beautiful views. Nearby is the bustling Victorian town of Cromer with its iconic Pier with shows at the theatre, a cinema, golf club, tennis courts and much more besides; there are also rail links to Norwich from the town if you are looking for a cultural day out with a bit of retail therapy. The National Trust properties of Blickling Hall and Felbrigg are both reasonably close by and a wander round the elegant Georgian town of Holt is a delight not to be missed – seek out its boutiques, food hall, café culture, antique showrooms and art galleries.
This is a brilliant family holiday home. Beautifully equipped and furnished. Large sunny garden is also great. Felt like home immediately. Norfolk cottages were very accommodating of our early arrival and booking of extra night last minute.
We were very impressed with the house and contents, the bonus of lots of toys for our grandchildren. An external clothes line would be useful and a stair gate. This is probaly the best rented holiday property we have stayed in.
A super, brand new house which provided a real home from home. Everything you needed was there in quantity.
