Overstrand is a lovely village on the North Norfolk coast, which features a steep ramp that leads down to a sandy beach, great for beach games or a swim. Take one of our favourite walks along the beach to Cromer and then return as the tide is coming in on the path along the cliff top, passing the lighthouse on the way. The village has a variety of shops and pubs, is close to Cromer with its award winning Pier, cinema and other facilities. The area is great for discovering the east coast beaches, walking the cliff path, various inland cycle routes and walks, and for visiting the nearby historic houses of Felbrigg and Blickling Hall both run by the National Trust. Overstrand is an oasis of calm in a busy world but the delights of Cromer and Norwich are only a short drive away if you are in need of some retail therapy.
Lovely house in a great location. We went with four kids from 8 to 17 years old. Plenty of space and the house is beautifully decorated. Overstrand is quiet with two pubs and a shop but has a stunning beach and cliff top views with a very quaint cafe. Fast walk along the cliffs to Cromer takes about 30 mins. Great week and would thoroughly recommend.”
A fantastic house, period features, art, lots of space and close to the amenities in Overstrand. Highlights for us were the beach and walk to Cromer, whilst Muckleburgh Military Museum was a surprise hit! Enjoyed food at The White Horse, Sea Marge and Bucket List. Hope to be back.
Brilliant stay. Overstrand is such a great place - love the beach. The Bell at Wiveton is a great place to eat. We loved the art, it really enhanced our stay.
We loved our stay in this beautiful house. It had everything that we could possibly need with the most beautiful decor, and the outside space is incredible.
Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful house. Absolute gem and a fantastic base. Loved Overstrand and the surrounding area.
Beautiful well appointed house in peaceful location just a short walk from the beach, village shop and pub.
Was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely house
