Holt is a popular town on the North Norfolk map. Seek out its Georgian charm and character, art and antique galleries, fashion boutiques, food shops offering the best of local produce, café's, pubs and restaurants. The Green Flag awarded Holt Country Park has over 100 acres of woodland to discover and Holt is also home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, where you can pick up the Poppy Line and enjoy a train ride to Weybourne and Sheringham on a diesel or steam train. Just a short drive to the stunning North Norfolk coast, where you can discover bird watching, nature reserves, enchanting coastal and inland villages, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, sailing, seal watching and vast sandy beaches. The coastal villages of Blakeney and Cley are just five miles away. Cley is home to Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitor centre, Cley Marshes Centre where you can sit in the café and enjoy panoramic views across the marshes or birdwatch from one of the hides.
Excellent location in the centre of Holt. Ideal cottage for a couple wanting a base to explore the North Norfolk coast. Close to Cley Next the Sea beach with its wonderful deli and windmill. The cottage is well equipped and has been brought up to date without losing the original features and period charm. Watch out for parking though; the Albert Street car park gets very congested during the day in holiday season.
Location fantastic, although website states steep stairs, they are very steep and people with mobility issues may struggle. Clean, comfortable cottage
A very cute & cosy cottage in the best location within walking distance of all that Holt has to offer. It was very clean & comfortable especially the bed. Would definitely recommend it.
Small but well equipped property in the centre of Holt ideal for couples.
