Seek out its Georgian charm and character, art and antique galleries, fashion boutiques, food shops offering the best of local produce, café's, pubs and restaurants, you will not be disappointed. Holt is also home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, the 100-acre Holt Country Park and is only a few miles inland from the scenic coast, where you can discover bird watching, nature reserves, enchanting coastal and inland villages, Areas of Outstanding Natural beauty, sailing, seal watching and outstanding sandy beaches.
We really appreciated the thought and effort in decorating and equipping the cottage. Despite the freezing end of April weather we were very comfortable and cosy and will certainly try to come again. Because we tried to book again in September and couldn't because of no vacancies, we started to look around Holt for something similar and there isn't anything half as nice! It made us realise how special Garden Cottage is.
Excellent facilities, very clean and well equipped cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely 'home from home' - weather was foul most of the time but we still enjoyed a relaxing break. Would love to come back again!
So beautifully equipped- ideally situated- parking a plus- compact suntrap courtyard garden-will definitely book again
WOW..... We were absolutely thrilled to arrive to a lit Christmas tree and such a beautifully decorated cottage. This must have taken hours to trim the cottage and believe me it could not have been more appreciated by us.
