A beautifully restored cottage, Archie’s, built in the 1820’s is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing stay whilst holidaying in north Norfolk. Located just behind the hubbub of the High Street, in the popular Georgian town of Holt, the cottage’s origins can be seen throughout and are artfully showcased, alongside up to date interiors. A real plus for the property is the on site parking space to the front of the house, which is a real bonus in a town where parking is at a premium. There is a large, spacious living room, a well-equipped kitchen and the bedrooms invite you in for a good night’s sleep with their soft colours and pretty décor. There is a small conservatory to relax in too, and a courtyard garden for eating al fresco on warmer days. Holt is a truly delightful town with independent boutique shops, a good food hall, antique and art galleries and numerous pubs, cafés and restaurants, it makes a super base for a north Norfolk holiday and is within easy reach of plenty of attractions in the area. Thank you for a warm welcome on the arrival of our holiday - leaving bottle of wine, biscuits & chocs. The cottage is a delight & we loved being so near the centre of Holt. Visited Holkham Beach, Wells, Blakeney, Hunstanton & Morston for the seal trip. What a great holiday. Carolyn, Peter & Poppy
A lovely clean, comfortable cottage. Great location Holt, visited Sandringham Felbrigg, Blicking, Sheffield Park and several sandy beaches, Overstrand is a quieter beach next to Cromer. Elaine & Andy
A lovely cottage for a Holt based holiday. We enjoyed relaxing and exploring the area.Brancaster and Holkham beach were beautiful. A seal trip had us all 'ohhing' and 'ahhing', thank you.
Archies served us well, 2 under two and 5 adults. Holt is an ideal base for everything on offer. Steam train was a hit (look out for the Rover ticket, best value). Holt has a street market on Sundays, which was great. Fish shops, butchers, greengrocers etc all you need.
Lovely cottage, great centre of village location. Its own off-road parking space an added bonus. Highly recommended.
