Built in 1887 this desirable holiday home, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but still in the heart of the historic Georgian town of Holt, is a lovely double fronted cottage with beautiful interiors. Full of character, charm and presented with style and flair, the cottage is comfortable and makes a memorable place to stay at any time of the year. Cosy sofas await you in front of the newly installed woodburner – perfect for warming toes for you and your four-legged friend on cooler days. For budding chefs there is a well equipped kitchen and the cottage is only moments away from a great food hall, local independent grocers, fishmongers, butchers and more. There is plenty to do in and around the town and the North Norfolk coast, much of which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is just a short drive away. Absolutely marvellous stay in a outstanding property.
We had a fantastic Christmas in the cottage, thank you.
Very stylish and well equipped in a central location.
Lovely warm and welcoming cottage, made our few days away very easy and enjoyable.
We love North Norfolk and Albert Cottage is a perfect location for exploring the area. Just the place to unwind in a cosy and comfortable cottage. Despite being in the middle of Holt it is very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely come back for another visit!
We have very much enjoyed our first time in Norfolk staying at Albert Cottage, the cottage is very well cared for and very comfortable and quiet. Fish and chips from Alberts just round the corner are very good. A visit to Holkham Hall & beach is well worth it - the walled garden is a must for garden lovers. Also not to be missed is a trip on the steam railway from Holt to Sheringham, those of us at a certain age will remember riding on them as children. Weather could have been warmer but on the one day that it rained all day we did the jigsaw puzzle in the bottom cupboard.
