Reviews

Pretty well kept cottage garden, with a side parking space, but have to be careful reversing onto the no through rd. Inside is very well equipped and clean. It is about a 12 minute walk into Holt town centre, where you can have an excellent coffee at the Black Apollo. We found a good meal and drink can be had at the Feathers Hotel especially the Sunday carvery. Nice beaches and sights at Wells next the sea.Mr Christopher Taylor - 24th June 2018

A well equipped cottage, all the essentials that make staying away from home easy. Fantastic weather, so lots of family days on Sheringham beach - lovely town - lots of tea & cake shops. Great evening meals at The Kings Head in Holt - recommend booking a table. Kids loved crabbing at Cromer but more success at Blakeney, another fantastic spot. Not enough time - so will definitely visit again. The Keohane Family - 3rd September 2016

Lovely cottage, we were made to feel very welcome. Had great days out with kids in Overstrand, Cromer and Wells-next-the-Sea. Can recommend Dinosaur Adventure & Pensthorpe Natural Park. Looking forward to coming again next year.Mark, Cathryn, Ava & Jacob - 6th August 2016
Comfortable and relaxing stay. Chilly, so grateful for heating and lots of hot water. We felt a real kindness in the set up here and enjoyed finding little extras - like the flowers and milk on arrival. Highlights include taking the boat out on Hickling Broad, Blickling Hall, and the walled garden at Felbrigg. Titchwell also good, and Wells Deli in Holt.Sarah & Carol - 27th May 2016
A lovely place to stay for our first week in Norfolk. Visited many churches. As late to birding birders - the RSPB Titchwell and Cley marshes (visitor centre) were excellent. Holkham Hall estate is vast. Holt fish & chips - eaten in the church yard to the sounds of bird song on a balmy early summer evening. Can I say more!!Julie & Trevor - 14th May 2016
We have enjoyed our stay in this typical Norfolk cottage. Very cosy, comfortable and well equipped - ideally located too, just a short walk from the lovely town of Holt, and great for catching buses to the coast and further afield. Lots to see and do nearby - beaches, countryside, market towns, shopping, bird spotting, walking, stately homes, gardens. The list is endless! The Peek Family - 15th April 2016
