The charming Georgian town of Holt is the ideal base to tour North Norfolk and boasts a selection of interesting shops including antique shops and art galleries. On the edge of the town, the green flag awarded Holt Country Park has over 200 acres of woodland with nature trails and organised events. Bird watching is one attraction in the area with the bird sanctuary at Cley and the coastal villages such as Blakeney close by. The pretty seaside town of Sheringham is only six miles away.
