East Runton lies on the A149 coast road between the resorts of Sheringham and Cromer. A steepish lane leads down to the beach where at low tide there is a wide expanse of flat sand perfect for sandcastles or ball games. The beach is backed by high cliffs and there are paths into Cromer or the neighbouring village of West Runton. Away from the coast is a cluster of traditional brick and flint cottages, and an attractive green and duck pond. The village is well placed for exploring the area but if you wish to remain closer to home there are several small shops, two pubs and a restaurant serving meals.
It was a fabulous cottage, with very well equipped kitchen, very clean and very well furnished, with lots of homely touches, would definitely holiday again in the cottage An excellent property, would definitely stay again, there was frequent bus service, which made it easier to travel around North Norfolk. When we arrived at the cottage, we couldn’t get a TV signal, we contacted Norfolk Country cottages and with in an hour the maintence man came and reset the TV (due to satellites being moved) and he also showed us how to work the boiler etc for the water and central heating.
Generally excellent and I would recommend to anyone
