Kingsmead is part of a substantial detached house built in 1900 for the town clerk. The property has been sympathetically restored retaining many original features. The house is spacious with the main rooms all being a good size, with high ceilings giving it a light and airy feel. An elegant staircase leads to the first floor and on the half landing an original stained glass window has been retained. This a super house for a family holiday, there is a garden to relax in and a few minute walk takes you to the pier, award winning beach, and shops. Shop/Pub: all within walking distance

Cromer is a traditional seaside resort with a cliff-top setting and wide sandy beaches running down to the sea. It is famous for its fishing boats that still work off the shore and offer freshly caught seafood. The town has a fine pier, a local history museum, a new lifeboat museum, a golf course, multi-screen cinema, Amazona zoo, indoor children's playbarn, Kart Track, cycle hire, shops and restaurants as well as seafront entertainment, making it ideal for a family holiday. Cromer church tower is the tallest in Norfolk and the more adventurous might like to climb to the top to enjoy the wonderful views.
The owner of the property had made it warm and welcoming, she was friendly and helpful at all times, the whole family enjoyed the stay and if the need arose we would be very happy to use the property again. Excellent service and the property was exactly as described

This was a lovely spacious house with plenty of room for 6 adults 2 children and 2 dogs! The location is great and within walking distance of Cromer centre and all its amenities. It aslo made a great base from which to travel to other places in Nolfolk. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely look to stay there again. I would definitely recommend it.
A lovely property which made us feel relaxed and at home as soon as we arrived. The owner (who lives on site) was incredibly friendly and welcoming, telling us about local events, ensuring we had everything we needed and even offering to dog sit. This is not your typical magnolia show home holiday cottage but really feels like a cosy welcoming home. We will. Be booking again for sure.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our week self-catering - in this house. It has everything you need and more. Beautiful big bedrooms, well equipped kitchen (and very homely), great layout and plenty of space. Our Christmas dinner, cooked on the range, was one of the best that we have ever done. One suggestion would be an outside washing line. We have been self catering for 25 years and this house is up there with the best.
