The village of Cley lies in a wonderful position on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. The main street winds its way past pretty flint cottages and houses, with Cley windmill being one of Norfolk's best known landmarks. There is excellent bird watching at Cley Marshes and also at nearby Blakeney Point. There is a very good delicatessen, smokery, pottery, gallery, bookshop, a restaurant and two pubs, which serve meals, in the village with further shopping and dining facilities available in the pleasant town of Holt just four miles away.
The peace and tranquility provided by this residence were such a blessing to find in this increasingly frantic world. To me personally this was the strength of this holiday property.
Clean, comfortable and ideally situated.
Excellent property in a very pleasant position, definitely worth a second visit
My wife and i have really enjoyed every stay on the North Norfolk coast, the laidback attitude of the people, the peace and and quiet, the gorgeous food in the pubs and cafes
Excellent in every respect
Our second visit , suits us perfectly. A cottage for two with twin beds is hard to come by.
