Burnham Market is an excellent village with a variety of shops and amenities centred around the picturesque village green. The village has a very good butcher, excellent fishmonger and greengrocer, great independent bookstore, as well as several delis and even a wonderful hat shop. Spend an afternoon browsing the cobbled courtyards and perhaps have an afternoon tea in one of the many tea rooms. Art connoisseurs will enjoy browsing the galleries with contemporary paintings and sculptures at specialist galleries including the Fairfax Gallery. ‘Foodies’ will enjoy discovering ‘flavours’ of Italy after a visit to the Tuscan Farm shop with a selection of cheeses, prosciutto and other artisan specialities from around our area as well as local produce from Humble Pie deli. For special occasions, why not enjoy a special dinner and treat yourself to supper at the Hoste Arms Hotel with bar, restaurant and spa facilities too, preceded by cocktails at No.29, perfect for celebrations with family and friends.
