Briston is a large village located within North Norfolk just four miles inland from the Georgian town of Holt. There is a pub, two shops, a bakery and a butchers. It’s a great location from which to explore all North Norfolk has to offer. Holt has a lovely range of local shops, a small independent supermarket together with plenty of tea rooms or restaurants offering locally sourced produce. Catch a steam or diesel train along the Poppyline, a coastal track which visits Weybourne and Sheringham. Many of the most wonderful beaches are within a short drive of Roe Deer Barn, go to Wells-next the-Sea and walk along the Quay or visit the vast sandy beach. The popular seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer make for a great day out for all the family, each having a golf course too! Salthouse and Cley-next-the-Sea are great bird watching locations, you will be spoilt for choice with so many places to discover.

An excellent property in a quiet but convenient location in the heart of North Norfolk. Exceptionally well fitted, equipped and furnished; very comfortable and with a high level of privacy. The shared outdoor play area, and indoor games room, are a welcome addition, and the 'welcome pack', including fresh bread, butter, milk, tea/coffee, and best of all a home made cake, was a really nice touch. Thoroughly recommendable!Mr Graham Barnhurst - 1st November 2018
We had a great time in the barn. Relaxing break. Kids had fun in the field and games room. We will recommend this barn to friends and family. Loved the interior decorations. The Sameen Party - 22nd October 2018
Have had a fantastic time in a well-appointed barn. Ideal for the family get together from all parts of the UK (and US). Four generations. Will come back and we've already recommended this to some friends. The Explorer Bar was a good place for a family meal on our last night. The Duke Family - 12th October 2018
The barn certainly has the 'wow' factor. The welcome pack was indeed welcome - Thank you! The comfort level exceeds all other properties we've stayed in and the facilities are excellent. We loved your games room - recommend Sunday lunch at The Hunny Bell in Hunworth. Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall will certainly recommend your barn. Thank you. The Franklin Party - 2nd October 2018
Had a lovely stay with our 15 month olds. Hope to come back again soon! The Ree's Party - 24th September 2018
We enjoyed our stay at Roe Deer Barn. The cottage was well equipped and the hosts are very friendly. We had 4 generations enjoying and relaxing together - we would definitely be visiting again. The cake in the welcome pack was a really nice touch - delicious. Beautiful grounds and the little ones enjoyed the playground and the ducks in the pond (ps I think one of the ducks did a runner as there is only one now!!). We had a lovely time with all the facilities for four generations. The Shah Family - 17th September 2018
We have had such a lovely and relaxing time in Roe Deer Barn. There was literally everything we could have wanted. The view over the lake is incredibly relaxing, especially watching the kingfisher. Thank you for everything - we look forward to coming back soon.Judy, Miles, Lucy and Anna - 31st August 2018
Roe Deer Barn certainly has the 'wow' factor. We all have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday home. Very thoughtfully planned. Thank you. You have made the childrens holiday very special with your games room 'den'. Beautiful views and their 4 friendly duck friends (haven't been kidnapped and taken home with them!!). We will be visiting this beautiful location again.Sally, Dan, Oscar, Lucy, Alice, Lynne and Trevor - 24th August 2018
