Sitting towards the edge of the fabulous Glaven Valley, Watermere House sits on the edge of the bustling village of Briston. The House sits in a quiet location, with views across the fields to the rear. It is four miles from the traditional shops and eateries of Holt, from where one can also take a steam train to Kelling or the seaside town of Sheringham. National Cycle Routes 2 & 3 sit to the east and west. The area is full of small villages; Hunworth, Stody and Heydon are definitely worth a visit. With a traditional baker, shops, pubs and two of the county's most renowned butchers in neighbouring Briston and Melton Constable, this is a great centre for exploring North Norfolk.
