Binham is a beautiful, peaceful village retaining all the charm and character of a bygone age. The village has the remains of an early 12th Century Benedictine priory, where classical concerts are held throughout the summer and the whole area is steeped in history. There is also a good pub, local store and garage. The nearby coastline has numerous enchanting towns and villages dotted along it, notably the harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea with its beautiful sandy beach backed by pine woods and the picturesque village of Blakeney, where narrow streets slope down to the tidal creek and offers sailing and beautiful coastal and marshland walks. The elegant Georgian town of Holt, just five miles away, is another lovely spot to while away the day with its mix of art and antique galleries, independent boutique shopping, café culture and more. The area also has some great restaurants, farm shops and pubs to delight the taste buds at any time of the day. A holiday in and around Binham will not disappoint.
