Binham is a beautiful, peaceful village retaining all the charm and character of a bygone age. The village has the remains of an early 12th Century Benedictine priory, where classical concerts are held throughout the summer and the whole area is steeped in history. The Georgian town of Holt is five miles away with the harbour town of Wells four miles away. Also nearby is the picturesque village of Blakeney, where narrow streets slope down to the tidal creek, and which offers sailing and beautiful coastal and marshland walks. The well-stocked village shop is a legendary village institution, as are the excellent butcher and pub.

Thank you for another lovely week at 9 Abbey House. Once again it has been more than anyone could hope for. Fantastic flat, area and much more. Thank you.Barbara & Robert - 1st July 2017
Such a lovely flat in a beautiful part of North Norfolk. Our two girls (aged 1 & 3 ) loved it here. The weather has been glorious so we made the most of it with a day at Wells beach. A stop at High Lodge, Thetford on the way here, and the Dinosaur Park on the way home. Would love to come back again. Raj, Hannah, Rosie & Thea - 2nd June 2017
Great location, ideal base for beach and walks, good Pub and shop, friendly locals. Mr P Byrne - 3rd March 2017
It was a surprise to arrive to find a nice young man in the bathroom! To my husband's relief he only stayed long enough to repair the shower. We had a lovely stay, this is our third visit and we chose this flat to celebrate our anniversary as we have enjoyed the lovely cosy atmosphere, friendly village and this part of Norfolk For February the weather was kind (luckily we came after storm Doris) and we were able to walk the coast path from Morston Quay to Cley next-the-Sea. Already want to return again.Barbara & Pete - 27th February 2017

A quirky but very comfortable apartment and superbly situated.Mr C Black - 22nd September 2016
A perfectly situated 'home from home' so handy for the coast. Wells is my favourite beach. Walking along the coast path is so relaxing with the huge skies and varied bird life. Trip to see the seals from Morston Quay on the most perfect sunny morning was a highlight. Comfy bed, great shower and very well equipped. Had a great stay, thank you.Pauline & Nick - 17th September 2016
This is an ideal apartment situated close by many attractions-especially the beautiful countryside. We have enjoyed our stay and hope to return. We were taken by the amenities at Holkham Hall, the seascape around Blakeneny and Cley and the super food at Wiveton Hall-recently televised as 'Normal for Norfolk' The grandchildren who were here for a few nights were impressed by the games in the cupboard!Dorothy & Graham - 3rd September 2016
A beautiful apartment that is well equipped and very homely. The area is outstanding and the people are fantastic, everyone we have met have been so helpful and friendly. We just wish we had booked two weeks instead of one because there is so much to do and see. Needless to say we have had a wonderful holiday and will be back again. The Tiplin Family - 19th August 2016
We had a lovely stay in Binham. The flat is lovely and spacious and the children enjoyed the bunk beds. We had a great week enjoying Wells, Cromer, Cley, Norwich and Holkham. We recommend visiting Cley's smokehouse for wonderful crab and using the park and ride in Norwich, (we used airport park and ride and it was really easy.) We all enjoyed visiting the village shop and sampling the Raw milk more than once. Flat is a great base to see the amazing skies of North Norfolk. Thank you. Ben, Izzy, Anna(7) and Harry(5) - 6th August 2016
This is our third stay over the years and we are pleased very little has changed. Not much to add to previous comments because flat and area are so nice. Recharged our batteries in this delightful flat, with supper in the Chequers, walks on Holkham beach. 'Raw milk' from the dairy, all helping our cause. The weather was grim but it didn't seem to matter as were softly cradled in the Norfolk bosom. Completely charmed. Paul & Jutta - 6th March 2016
