Whitwell is a hidden hamlet tucked away on the fringes of north Norfolk and close to the stylish Georgian market town of Reepham, which has some excellent facilities. For train buffs, Whitwell & Reepham Heritage Railway is nearby, as is Marriott’s Way, 26 miles of wonderful walking or cycling that stretches from Aylsham to Norwich. Explore The Broads National Park to the east, which is less than half an hour away, and has 125 miles of waterways and nature trails to enjoy. A day at the beach is less than an hour away and there are some famous, historic houses in the area at Blickling and Felbrigg. Dotted with farm shops, great pubs and market towns, as well as easy access to Norwich, Whitwell is a wonderful spot to discover the beautiful county of Norfolk.

A lovely spacious property in a great setting. Very private and quiet but with easy access to Reepham for shopping and eating out. Perfect for dog owners and walkers. Easy access to the North and East Norfolk coasts, Norwich and the Broads.

Ms D,

Apart from being such a lovely house in pleasant spacious grounds, the written personalised welcome in the kitchen and the chilled champagne on arrival said so much about how our hosts really valued their guests.

Mr N,

A delightful rural property in a secluded location making for a peaceful relaxing break. Some thoughtful touches provided by the owners made us feel instantly special and welcomed. Best of all for us was a truly dog friendly property with a fenced large garden.

Mr B,

A beautifully appointed building, within an easy drive to the coast and local amenities. The interior of the building is an eclectic mix of old with very tasteful modern touches and tasteful decor. The property was immaculate with everything you need to make for a comfortable break away. As 3 couples we had all the space we needed to take some time out as a couple but also the space to enjoy being together. Thoughtful touches on arrival to the property - so well thought out. Would highly recommend and hope to return for our next visit to Norfolk.

Mrs A,

A really beautiful house in a quiet leafy location, great for exploring the North Norfolk area. Superb levels of cleanliness, comfort and facilities with a lovely garden and entrance. The piano is very nice and such a fantastic thing to have on a holiday if you play. The pinball machine was very popular too. The cooking facilities are compact but enough for 5 people easily. Warm throughout in October. We felt very much at home here and enjoyed the local walks as well as venturing further to the coast along wonderful winding lanes through beautiful autumn countryside. We will definitely return again.

Mr M,

White House is a super place to stay. Full of character, peaceful and a great base to explore North Norfolk from.

Mrs J,

White House is an amazing property which is spacious both inside and outside. Bedrooms are very comfortable and we all slept well in the beds. Both showers are excellent and my daughter enjoyed using the bath. The owners are on hand without being intrusive. Highly recommend staying in this property!

Mr C,
