Whitwell is a small hamlet just 2 miles from the delightful market town of Reepham. Home to Whitwell and Reepham railway museum it is the perfect spot for any train enthusiasts. It is also an ideal area for walking and cycling due to it being on the Marriott's Way, a 26 mile footpath, bridleway and cycle route running between the historic market town of Aylsham and the medieval city of Norwich. The award winning Dinosaur Adventure Park is just minutes away and is great fun for children. The beautiful North Norfolk Coast, the renowned Broads and the fine city of Norwich are all just a short drive away.
We've had a great few days here. We loved the games room. The lodge had all we needed. We've been to Wells-Next-The-Sea. The Hilltop Adventure Centre & Roar, The Dinosaur Park (with great high wires). Had great fish & chips at No. 1 in Cromer. Thank you so much. Hope to come back soon.
First visit to this lovely holiday home - found it just right. Perfect base for family adventures.
Enjoyed the outdoor seating area, games room and occasional visit from the dogs.
Our first visit to this lovely cottage. Really enjoyed staying here, clean and well equipped. Will hopefully stay again.
We loved staying here and certainly enjoyed meeting Tilly, Ted and Kayleigh. We have had a wonderful time and it won't be our last time stayijng here.
This is our first visit to Pheasant Lodge and it certainly won't be our last. Excellent cottage. The location, cleanliness, 'well-equippedness' of the cottage could not be better. We all loved the games room and tennis courts and not forgetting Tilly, Ted and Kayleigh. The owners gave us some super recommendations which, when coupled with a whole week of good weather, made for a fabulous holiday. Thank you!
Warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean!
Third stay in Pheasant Lodge, with daughters family. Had another great time - kids loved the games room (wet first part of week) and plenty of places to visit including family living close by. A great welcome from hosts and dogs.
