Nestled on a working arable farm with sweeping countryside views from its balcony, Little Owl Loft is a beautifully presented rural retreat for two. The external wooden stairs lead you to a lovely holiday home with modern touches and open plan living, all on one level. The main living space has oak flooring, a well-equipped kitchen and French doors that lead out onto your own private balcony. This is the perfect place to relax and look out for the local wildlife; three types of deer frequent the area and, of course, Little Owls too. The bedroom is spacious, with natural seagrass flooring and extends to a lovely en-suite shower room. With a neutral palette of soft creams, punctuated by touches of colour, the owners have created a calm and restful getaway for you to enjoy. Shop/Pub: 3 miles

In a central position for exploring some of Norfolk's finest attractions, guests at Swannington can enjoy some excellent golf at the Royal Norwich and Barnham Broom courses, and walking and cycling paths, such as the Marriott's Way, the Bure Valley and Weavers Way. The Norfolk Broads National Park is an easy drive from the property, where you can enjoy a river cruise or hire a boat and explore the 125 mile network of waterways that makes up this part of Norfolk. Within a thirty-minute drive, you can enjoy north Norfolk and its wide, sandy beaches. The cathedral city of Norwich with all its cultural attractions and shopping opportunities is approximately fifteen minutes by car. Norfolk abounds with National Trust properties with Blickling, Felbrigg and Sheringham Park being the closest. For those who appreciate natural attractions, the thirty-five acres of Alderford common, an Area of Special Scientific Interest, is almost on the doorstep.
