Close by is the larger village of Reepham, which has a market on a Wednesday, a library, a butchers and several good pubs and cafes serving excellent food. The area is great for walking or cycling, the Marriotts Way is a twenty six mile footpath, cycle track and bridle way which follows the track of two former railways lines between Aylsham and Norwich.
