Reepham is a small market town, between the Bure and Wensum valleys, which has been designated a Conservation Area and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Impressive Georgian properties line the square and there is a good selection of independent local shops, two good pubs, The Kings Arms and The Crown which boasts a family friendly garden, and a great foodie restaurant, The Dial House, and a market in the main square every Wednesday. Fishing and tennis are available locally and just one mile from Reepham, Whitwell and Reepham Railway has been lovingly restored to its former glory. It is an ideal area for walking and cycling with the Marriotts Way on the outskirts of the town, which is a great 26mile path running between Norwich and Aylsham. Nearby attractions include Blickling Hall and Park with a vast lake and over 950 acres of woodland and parkland. The beautiful north Norfolk coast, The Broads National Park and the historic city of Norwich are all a short distance away.
Spent a few days at this cosy cottage. We chose it because, although we had views across the fields, we could easily walk into Reepham and found it has a very friendly pub and a good deli. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable (loved the log burner in the evenings) and the owners were very helpful in dealing with minor issues. It’s location was ideal for a visit to Norwich and to the coast and there are great walks locally.
Peaceful location, yet within easy walking distance of the small market town of Reepham . We stayed in November, cosy and warm house with the bonus of a wood burner. Well equipped kitchen for a holiday home.
Great location, very well equipped with all essential needs and more. Very spacious and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family.
