The hamlet of Ilketshall St Margaret is located just south of the market town of Bungay with all its shopping, eating and recreational opportunities virtually on the doorstep. Set within delightful countryside that offers peace and tranquillity yet has great links to some of Suffolk's well known market and coastal towns. Southwold and the Heritage Coast are just a short drive with Bungay and Beccles, market towns with diverse shopping opportunities, just minutes away. The whole area is surrounded by National Cycle Routes that should keep keen cyclists busy for at least a week!
Perfect place to relax, explore and enjoy the area. Well appointed property, good features.
Very well equipped cottage. Large paddock for dogs to run around. Lovely hot tub and beautiful grounds.
Great holiday property! We had a blast. Very suitable for a 6-person family (4 kids; all under 11) and it's also suitable for families with older children/teenagers. Perfect place to have as a home base for walks, sightseeing, etc., but also for just staying at home. Very relaxing.
Very pieceful location. Was greated by the owner, Daphne, on arrival who was very friendly. Lovely clean cottage. Dog friendly, with a large fenced paddock for our dogs to run around without fear of losing them. Hot tub was enjoyable in the evenings. All local areas are lovely to walk around and most pubs are dog friendly. Couldn’t have asked for any more.
