Hempton is a small village standing on the river Wensum and is less than a mile from the town of Fakenham, here you will find a weekly market, shops, a cinema, a bowling alley, and a great selection of eateries. Again heading just ten miles - this time north westerly you will find the elegant town of Burnham Market, often described as a Chelsea-on-Sea, with a selection of eateries including the well-known Hoste Arms and a large number of unique & independent shops.
