Helhoughton is a small village surrounded by attractive countryside. A peaceful location that has very good access to the North Norfolk Coast, the coastal villages of Wells, Burnham Market and Brancaster and the sandy beaches of Thornham and Holme. The RSPB site at Titchwell offers wonderful bird-watching opportunities, and the Hawk & Owl Trust at Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve is close by.
The attractive market town of Fakenham is a short drive away, with its racecourse, shops, bowling alley, cinema, restaurants and pubs and a Thursday market which should not be missed. Pensthorpe, is a great day out for all ages and is just 3 miles south east of Fakenham. Extreeme Woodland High Ropes Adventure Course is eight miles away if you're feeling daring, and National Cycle Routes 1 & 2 are just two of the routes that are in the locality and they will certainly test your staying power. A great location for a holiday at any time of the year with lots to see and do.
