Together with comfortable furnishings and a large garden, extending to over an acre, Woodhall Manor offers the perfect ingredients for a holiday with family or friends. The detached accommodation has been tastefully finished and is spread over two floors, to include a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor for guests who are less able to manage the stairs or those who wish to have a room away from the rest of the party. There is parking for four cars and undercover storage for bikes should you wish to bring them. Thrandeston is located on the Norfolk/Suffolk border within 6 miles of the popular town of Eye where there is a range of shops, facilities and a weekly Country Market. With plenty of walking and cycling opportunities from the doorstep of Woodhall Manor you could easily spend a day exploring this beautiful part of Suffolk, taking in the fresh air, local wildlife and why not stop in one of the many country pubs for a half way refreshment or two! Thrandeston is a rural hamlet within 6 miles of Eye, a small historic town dating back to Roman time, and is located within the Norfolk/Suffolk border - perfect for those wishing to explore both of these beautiful counties. Head into Norfolk and enjoy exploring historic Norwich with its Cathedral, Museums and shops. Venture to the delights of the Norfolk Broads National Park which is made up of navigable waterways including 7 rivers and 63 broads, 13 of which are accessible to man, why not hire a day boat and explore this remarkable area whilst afloat! The east beaches of Norfolk are vast and sandy and you can often spot a inquisitive seal or two bobbing in the north sea. Back in Suffolk, the property stands in an area which is rich in history and wildlife sanctuaries including Redgrave and Lopham Fen. The diverse stretch of coast from Southwold to Aldeburgh is just lovely and takes in heathland, pretty villages and stunning scenery. Award winning Banham Zoo is a great day out for children and adults alike, there is plenty to within this area to keep you entertained!
This charming country house was an ideal base to travel around and visit attractions in Norfolk and Suffolk. Set in a beautiful peaceful location, the extremely large gardens were a bonus for the children in our party who could enjoy running around without being restrained! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Charming country house in a beautiful rural location. Peaceful and ideal for children to run around safely in the extensive gardens.
