Description

Keepers Cottage stands in the grounds of Dillington Hall next to their working farmyard. Formerly a cattle shed dating back to the 18th century, it has been tastefully renovated and now provides comfortable spacious accommodation. The property is ideally located for the delights of the North Norfolk coast, historic Norwich, the waterways of the Broads or for the adventurous "Go Ape" in Thetford Forest, are all are only a short drive away  Shops/Pub: within walking distance

Also Provided: Towels. CDs, books, games and WiFi and an EV charger free to use. Travel cot(will only fit in main bedroom), Highchair. A telephone is available at the owner's property on request.
Notes: This is a non-smoking property. Mobile signal - variable. The Cottage is next to a working farmyard; during harvest time - July/August there may be moving farm machinery two or three days a week.

Dillington, a small hamlet, is quietly situated in the heart of rural Norfolk approximately two miles north west of East Dereham. Dereham itself is a bustling market town with shops, restaurants, cinema, bowling alley, leisure centre, golf course and street market on Fridays. Dillington is only a twenty mile drive to the North Norfolk Coast and the city of Norwich.

It was easy to find with the owners' instructions and Helen came by for a friendly, welcoming chat after we arrived. Eggs and other basics were awaiting us. The surroundings were attractive. Comfortable beds. Good showers. Parking was easy. The amazing amount of lavender along the front smelled so lovely. Highly recommended!

A superbly located cottage in a beautiful rural setting, yet within a couple of minutes drive to all the shops and facilities in Dereham. Very comfortable and clean, with everything needed on hand through the week, with some lovely welcome items in the kitchen on arrival (the eggs from the farm are as excellent as other reviews have stated!). This was our first foray away from staying on the coast in Norfolk during the school holidays and was a great decision. The location of the cottage is perfect for visiting a whole new range of attractions and places in the county for all the family - we came away after a week, having visited somewhere new each day, with a lengthy list of places still to visit. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent house in every way, super handy having the EV charger so we could explore the wonderful area around the coast, cycle trails, Norfolk Broads and Norwich with no worries.
