All on one level and well equipped, the cottage offers open plan living, an attractive double bedroom and a bathroom. It is close to the villages of Chedgrave and Loddon for daily supplies and within easy reach of The Broads National Park, the sandy, east coast beaches, the city of Norwich and the Norfolk/Suffolk border; it would be easy to explore both counties from here. Chedgrave and Loddon are adjacent villages that adjoin each other. There are some good pubs and local shopping available in Loddon, which is set on the Chet River. There are plenty of attractions in the area from all points of the compass. For a cultural day out, the city of Norwich is less than 30 minutes’ drive, explore Norwich Castle, Norwich Cathedral, The Lanes and many great eateries showcasing the Norfolk foodie scene. To the north, enter the heart of The Broads National Park and hire a boat or canoe for a gorgeous day out, with over 125 miles of waterways to discover. The east coast beaches are within easy reach, Winterton-on-Sea has a lovely sandy beach and a little further up the coast, visit Horsey Gap to see the seal colony. To the south is the village of Bungay, which has many independent shops, art galleries, delicatessen and cafes and just over the border in Suffolk, Beccles is a lovely town to explore, where again boat, canoe and stand-up paddle boards are for hire, you may also fancy a dip at the Lido, which is open during the main holiday season.
