Castle Acre is a pretty North-West Norfolk conservation village which is steeped in history and has a timeless quality to it. The Norman Castle earthworks and the beautiful ruins of the magnificent Cluniac Priory are the best preserved in the country. The village is sited on the ancient Peddars' Way, and the area offers ample opportunities for good walking and cycling.
